Join our innovative Vancouver-based startup at the forefront of the online gaming industry. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated UI/UX Designer to help re-imagine how we play poker. At PokerLab you will be surrounded by industry veterans from the iGaming and Gaming industries working towards building a modern poker experience. As a UI/UX Designer at PokerLab you will work on our poker client and create both functional and visually appealing interfaces that will address the needs of our stakeholders. You will bring your experience and creativity to collaborate closely with the Head of Product, Product Owners and Engineers.To be successful in this role, you should have experience with Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite. The individual we are looking for is enthusiastic about being a major contributor in pioneering the next poker great experience.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with the Head of Product and Product Owners
• Utilize UI/UX expertise to suggest ways to build out the UI for better usability and and User experience
• Create wireframes and mock-ups (low to high fidelity) based on requirements gathered from the team
• Design UI elements such as graphics and iconography to be used in the UI
• Create User Journeys and Prototypes to present to the team or clients
• Conduct layout adjustments based on feedback
• Create animated UI assets for front end development implementation

Requirements and skills:

• At least 3 years proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer
• Portfolio of design projects as a UI/UX Designer
• High level knowledge of wire-framing tools (Figma)
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like the Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
• Experience with vector animation software such as Spine and Rive
• Degree or Diploma in related field

Bonus:

• Likes playing and understands the game of poker
• iGaming experience (Online Casino, Sportsbetting, Card Games, etc.)
• Ability to create motion graphics
