Salary to $190K + Bonus Potential to 20%. Must live in California, preferably within LA metro.

We are looking for a Director of Finance / FP&A for our new office opening soon in Los Angeles. The role can sit primarily Remote initially as we build out our new office and the ideal candidate must hold an active CPA license. This position will oversee the Finance, FP&A and Accounting functions within the organization and supervise a small team. We will consider FP&A Managers with a CPA who have managed a team and are looking to make the next step in their careers.

Duties:

• Develop finance and accounting team goals aligned with organizational initiatives.
• Prepare and manage the annual budget, monthly forecasts, and long-term strategic financial plans.
• Develop cash flow forecasts and maintain a long-term cash positioning framework
• Provide leadership in managing the capital process, including capital allocation, budgeting for major expenditures, and ensuring efficient use of resources to drive profitability and long-term value creation.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with GAAP standards and relevant regulations.
• Oversee internal and external audit processes, analyze results, and secure approval of audited financial statements.
• Manage the sales contracting function, including legal and financial reviews of contracts.
• Development of reporting systems, including KPIs and ad hoc analyses tied to company goals.
• Manage a small team in Finance.
• Serve on the Leadership committee.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of operations and finance experience, preferably in a subscription or technology business environment
• Must hold an active CPA (required)
• Team management experience is required - this role will oversee at least two direct reports.
• Significant financial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and multi-faceted strategic planning
• In-depth knowledge of finance, accounting, and compliance principles, including GAAP standards
• Strong understanding of contracting, negotiating, and change management
• Familiarity with SaaS businesses and subscription revenue models is a PLUS
• Ability to produce reliable financial reports, projections, models, and analyses, including cash flow and variance analysis
